CATAID

Accepts a semi-colon/space separated list of sources, with or without the preceeding 'G/g'. The range of available CATAIDs is 6802 - 6438620. The following are valid

  • g65406;g65405;g6000001;
  • 65406 106376 238211
  • g65406;79334; 106638;
  • 65406; G6000001; 47500; 55095; G919207; 106638; G585632; G585655; G585597; G585589; G585614; G585617;

RA, DEC

You can enter a single position in the RA, DEC boxes using either sexagesimal [HH:MM:SS DD:MM:SS] or degrees [RAdegs Decdegs] format. If the RA, DEC boxes are left blank, but a valid CATAID is provided, it will look up the corresponding RA and DEC.

Upload file

User-uploaded files can be of type ascii, txt or text (MIME type text/plain) and less than 100kB. The file may be one of three formats; [RA, DEC], or [GAMA ID].

The following are valid;

  • #RA dec
    12:28:8.96234693960 , -11:14:15.35367885116
    350.9392 , -47.05499
  • 23:23:23.0, -8:09:59.09
    184.4, 1.8
  • 65406
    G6000001
    47500
    55095
    106638

Input preference is CATAID > RA, DEC > Uploaded File i.e., the CATAID field supersedes the Uploaded file. Please reset the form or delete inputs from other fields.

Cutout radius

The maximum cutout radius allowed is 600''
